ReviewMe.com is offering a new service to advertisers and bloggers alike… Advertorials.
This brings ReviewMe.com’s offerings to three: Their original blogger created review, “campaign” service, and now this advertorial.

Here’s the announcement in their words:
“We are excited to announce our new Advertorial product at ReviewMe! Advertorials are a huge step forward in the world of paid blog reviews. Check out the benefits:
For Advertisers:
*You control the message. Enter up to 250 words including links back to your website and also an image of your choice.*You can login and get full impression and click tracking on your campaign.*You choose which top blogs to place your Advertorial.
For Publishers:
*Less work. Simply cut and paste our code into your blog.*All advertorials are by default marked as a “SPONSOR POST:” so the disclosure is done for you.*You retain full control. Accept or reject any Advertorials purchased.
We think our RM Advertorial will revolutionize the paid blogging world by giving advertisers complete control over their messaging, along with a branding opportunity and the reporting metrics they have come to expect with traditional online media buys. Bloggers will also benefit from an additional revenue source to supplement ReviewMe’s suite of offerings.”

The best part about this is the advertiser writes the content so publishers just need to accept or reject any advertorials purchased. No more worrying about writing reviews

FUN! It's a 3 letter word

Fun. It's a 3 letter word.

It's estimated that over 80% of adults don't have enough fun in their life. I betcha its closer to 98%. There is an empty void in people's lives waiting to be filled!

Have you heard of "The Law of Attraction"? Is it metaphysical voodoo mumbo jumbo or just plain common sense? Let's think about the common sense for a second. Let's say you live in a big city and you're building a marketing team to sell ladies skin care. What's more fun than helping a woman look sexy and 10 years younger? If you're having fun selling skin care, it will show. People will notice at a subconscious level. If they're lacking enough fun in their lives, of course they are going to be curious about why you're having fun and they're not.
Let's say you hate selling skin care. You just go through the motions. Think people will notice as well, even on a subconscious level? They won't be nearly as interested because they're not having fun either.
If someone craves fun, and you sell fun, then you're in business!

If you are not having fun in your business, then you're in the equivalent of a wooden ship riddled with termites, wood rot, mold, and a bunch of evil demons armed with hand drills….sooner or later you're gonna have to swim for it brothers and sisters!

The wanna-be gangstas on the rap videos think its all about the Benjamins…poor deluded children. It's all about the FUN!

Yeeeaaah Boi!

How can you add more fun to your business?

My old marketing coach called it "discovering the leverage points". You can add fun in marketing, contests, prizes, attire and fashion, celebrities, special events, charities, adventures, color schemes, logos, mascots, products, packaging and the sky is the limit.
The biggest crime in 21st century marketing is being boring. And a lot of stuffy old companies are guilty!

I challenge you to do something completely zany, wacky and fun today. Something you either have never done before or haven't done since you were a kid. Rekindle the mischievous sprite inside you. Have as much fun as the law will allow!

Does anybody really know what time it is?

Lost time is never found again
Benjamin Franklin (01/17/1706 - 04/17/1790) US statesman, economist and natural scientist

Many of us claim our days are never wasted. "I'm very organized" we say "I know where I am going and what I'm going to do". If you truly feel that way then you are in the minority. Most people become frustrated with a day that is unproductive. We would all like to get more done in a day. I know that I am not planning as well as I should when I start saying I wish I had more hours in the day. I have even thought about how much time I waste sleeping. If I could get by with 5 less hours of sleep a day, then by the end of the week I would have an extra day to get more things done. Then I quickly realize that giving up sleep is not the answer for me, I need all the beauty rest I can get. What I need to do is get more organized and start planning out my day and stop reacting to life’s emergencies.

The idea of time management has been in existence for more than 100 years. Unfortunately the term "Time management" creates a false impression of what a person is able to do. Time can't be managed, time is uncontrollable we can only manage ourselves and our use of timeTime management is actually self management. Its interesting that the skills we need to manage others are the same skills we need to manage ourselves: the ability to plan, delegate, organize, direct and control

In an effort to get more organized I have spent 1 hour each day this week organizing my office. It seems to be working. Today I was looking at purchasing a new day planners, and I wasted over an hour on the internet doing research. Not the best use of my time. I was considering purchasing the Franklin Covey System. Seems to have everything I am looking for. But I would love to hear what other people use. So in an effort to save time I thought I would conduct a simple pole. What type of day planners do you use?

Is Your Dream Big Enough?

"If We Don’t Have Our Dreams, We Have Nothing.” Charles Farmer( Billy Bob Thorton) from The movie "Astronaut Farmer".

What a memorable quote. I just saw the movie Astronaut Farmer yesterday and I loved it. I won’t describe the storyline (you can get a good idea from watching the trailer below), but I will tell you that It was a very memorable and inspirational movie. It's very rare that I want to see a movie a second time. However I loved this movie so much that I pre-ordered the DVD that releases on July 10. This will be a permanent part of my collection of inspirational movies like Rudy, Braveheart, Hoosiers, and more.

Now don’t get me wrong, This movie will probably not win an Academy Award. But the inspiration and positive messages of the movie more than make up for that. You probably want to watch the movie with a box of tissues next to you. The movie is rated PG and is family-oriented one that you will not be embarrassed to take your older children to see. Who knows maybe they will get inspired by the movie too.

Watch the trailer below (be sure and check the name on the side of the rocket) then take a moment and think about your Dreams. Do you still have Dreams? Are you pursuing your dreams? No matter what those around you say or believe, never give up on your dreams.

I would love to hear what your dreams are. Leave a comment below.

Lost Secrets to Riches Revealed

One of the most inspirational and life-changing books I have every read is "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill. Never has there been a book written like it. It is the foundation of almost every modern day self help books today...It contains the secret to creating Success.

The secret was brought to Napoleon Hill by Andrew Carnegie, more than a quarter a century ago. Andrew Carnegie is known for having built one of the most powerful and influential corporations in United States history, U.S. Steel, and, later in his life, giving away most of his riches to fund the establishment of many libraries, schools, and universities in Scotland, America and worldwide.

Andrew Carnegie commissioned Napoleon Hill to interview all top successful business men of the time to determine their formula for success. Napoleon Hill interviewed the likes of Henry Ford, Thomas Edison, John D. Rockefeller, Alexander Graham Bell and hundreds of others. It took over 20 years for him to complete his research.

His writings became the world's first comprehensive philosophy of personal achievement.

In the first chapter he writes " Your progress towards success begins with a fundamental question, Where are you Going? Definitiveness of purpose is the starting point of all achievement..."

The starting point of all human achievement is the development of a Definite Major Purpose. Without a definite major purpose, you are as helpless as a ship without a compass. That is why I named this Blog Definite Purpose. It is my starting point.

If you have not read Napoleon Hill's work, I highly recommend you pick up a copy.

I would love to hear what some of your Definite Purposes are?
